These kids were totally accommodating and perfectly lovely and I can’t wait for the wedding this October! I can’t say that this shoot went off ‘without a hitch’ however,  there was a broken flip flop… oh and Alex got electrocuted… details.  It may or may not be as bad as it sounds depending on if you have experience (Alex said it was a little like being stabbed), but on our way to the river and field you’ll see in the following, we crossed over some electric fences for the cattle and well Alex informed us where one was on the way back by personal experience.  Still, even with that I don’t care, this was worth it (easy for me to say right), but LOOK HOW PRETTY!

It must have been a very hot summer.  Every time I look back on these shoots and think of what I want to say I think… ‘that was a hot day!’  Much like the last wedding, this was ALSO a very hot day.  So sweaty, so hot it was hard to stand in the sun.  For Whitney even just having black shoes made her feet burn.  However, we as always soldiered on and I think we got some lovely pictures.  Some of these even, ironically, have a ‘cool’ feeling to them.  Whitney is super lovely, and I’m excited for her wedding, which at this point is not very far away.  Just a week Whit, get excited! 

Ok, the first thing I have to say, is one picture down the jumping – I’ve never posted jumping pictures before in formals (I don’t think), just because they are often a let down.  Maybe it’s what I catch, maybe it’s because it’s difficult in the dress and suit and everything.  But the faces, and the abandon by Heather in those pictures is SO great.  Cracks me up every time.  I have to say that Matt was a trouper too, what you don’t see when you see these still pictures is that Matt was really sick, poor guy!  So yeah, not the funnest time to be sick, your wedding day, and then to be asked to jump around and what not, but Matt put on his brave face.  And being he was marrying this cutie, he had everything to celebrate and be excited about anyway.  This day was hot as, well hot as you know where.  I think I sweat a bucket in the short time we were out there.  It honestly was nearly, if not, one hundred degrees…..  YIKES!  Anyway, enjoy.
