Whitney and Ryan are getting married in August, I can’t wait!  I had so much fun with this shoot.  These guys thought about where they wanted to shoot, when they wanted to shoot, what they wanted to wear, thought about posing, and everything else involved.  They were serious, but we had a good time.  They cared, but weren’t stressed out.  It was a fantastic recipe for a shoot and as a result I had an impossible time narrowing down this post!  Believe it or not, as many pictures as are here, I left as many again on the cutting room floor to keep it from going on forever.  Oh well, at least they’ll get to see them and enjoy them!

Monique and Mason met at USU, started dating at USU, had their first kiss at USU, got engaged at USU… So it was only natural that we took their engagement pictures at USU.  Being an alum myself, I can understand their fondness for the ‘A’.  This couple also helps me feel mighty old.  I’ve know the bride since she was a wee one.  She’s the little little sister of one of my besties, and so mutually we both feel so very old that she’s getting married.  This was a great afternoon and I’m looking forward to seeing these kiddos at their groomals and their wedding.

Maggie & Ty are at school in Idaho, but the wedding will be in Logan in November.  Also they just happened to be here for just a few more days before returning to school so we got them last minute before they took off.  Maggie is someone who smiles and laughs a lot, as you’ll surely notice in their pictures, I like that.  She’s also a red head, and I really like that! Ty didn’t seem so sure about this crazy rite of passage, but Maggie worked on tickling Ty to get him to bust out the smiles for us!

Derek & Jen are one of my September weddings.  We got scratched up, eaten by bugs, hot and sweaty… and it all ended up being worth it.  It may not have been glamorous in real life, but the pictures look it.  Sometimes that’s how it goes!

Chad and Whitney are getting married this September.  We had enough time that we could choose just the perfect day for their engagement session, and so it was.  Warm, beautiful light and great locations.  We learned we had a few connections in our past… although I am much, much older than them, ha.

I’d been wanting to shoot these locations for a long time I was excited to get out and do it.  Nicole and Clayton were very good, very serious models!

Lovely, lovely day to shoot and this couple was in a great mood.  I just kept shooting and they just kept on smiling and laughing.  Love that!  Can’t wait for their wedding!
